We use FEBio (a nonlinear finite element analysis software for biomechanics) and, in collaboration with dental clinicians, have been engaged in stress analysis of jawbone for dental implant procedures, stress analysis of orthodontic aligners, as well as the design, prototyping, and evaluation of related instruments.
We are also conducting studies on evaluating the effects of environmental magnetic fields on the human body (mainly the brain), including the estimation and visualization of intracerebral electric field distributions through electromagnetic analysis.
We hope to exchange information with professionals in the medical industry regarding needs in biomechanical simulation, such as analysis targets and modeling, required accuracy, and practical applications in clinical and product development settings.
We also welcome collaboration with medical institutions, universities, and medical device manufacturers.
Depending on the project needs, we can flexibly support both commissioned analysis and collaborative research.
