Québec Life Sciences — Montréal InVivo & BIOQuébec Montréal InVivo is the non-profit secretariat of Greater Montréal's Life Sciences and Health Technology (LSHT) cluster — a top 10 North American hub. Led by President & CEO Stéphanie Doyle, it brings together 620+ organizations, 150+ research centres, 11 post-secondary institutions, and 41,000 skilled workers. Montréal ranks #1 in Canada for research centres and contributes CAD $4.5B to metropolitan GDP, with multinational anchors including Moderna, Pfizer, Novartis, AbbVie and Merck. Core strengths span neurosciences, oncology, digital health, MedTech, biopharma, CROs and CMOs — underpinned by world-class AI expertise. BIOQuébec is Québec's largest life sciences trade association, led by President & CEO Benoît Larose. With 300+ member organizations across biopharma, manufacturing, MedTech and CROs, it represents a sector generating 38,500+ jobs and over CAD $6.5B in provincial GDP. Fully member-funded, BIOQuébec advocates for the industry with government, drives market access, and facilitates international partnerships and trade missions. Together at WHX Osaka, both organizations represent Québec's full LSHT value proposition: a cost-competitive North American gateway, a world-class research base, and a partnering-ready industry network open to out-licensing, co-development and investment. In October 2026, Montréal InVivo and BIOQuébec will co-host BioHorizon — a new bilingual international forum designed to connect Québec's life sciences ecosystem with global partners. WHX Osaka attendees are warmly invited to join us.
