Lindo is developing an infection prevention platform that embeds antimicrobial blue light into clinical infrastructure to reduce biofilm driven infection risk at the source. Our first applications are Lindo Tube and Lindo Drain. Lindo Tube is a first in class endotracheal tube designed to reduce the risk of ventilator associated pneumonia by targeting biofilm formation inside the airway during mechanical ventilation. Lindo Drain is a continuous drain disinfection system designed to reduce biofilm and pathogen spread from healthcare plumbing, particularly in high risk clinical environments such as intensive care units. Together, these products address two persistent infection pathways in healthcare: the patient airway and the built environment. Both use the same underlying antimicrobial blue light platform to support continuous, automated and non chemical infection prevention, without adding complexity to clinical workflows. Developed with Mayo Clinic collaboration, secured intellectual property and Australian Government support, Lindo is building a scalable platform for hospitals seeking to reduce healthcare associated infections, antimicrobial resistance pressure and avoidable cost.
