O firmie
Vancouver-based Eyam Health is a platform biotechnology company advancing next-generation technologies to transform how biologics are designed, delivered, and expressed. At the core is Eyam's Gemini self-amplifying platform, a versatile system enabling carrier-free delivery of RNA or DNA as naked nucleic acids. With payload capacity up to 16KB, multi-gene expression (up to 5 ORFs), and exceptional durability, Gemini supports long-lasting, high-level expression from a single dose, with sustained in vivo expression exceeding six months, and without LNPs or cold-chain logistics.
Complementing Gemini is Jennerator, Eyam's AI-driven immunoinformatics engine, which accelerates biologic design through epitope prediction, HLA/MHC binding optimization, and payload engineering tailored for Gemini delivery. Together the platforms are being applied across a broad range of biologic modalities, including vaccines, monoclonal antibodies, and gene and cell therapy payloads. Eyam's internal pipeline focuses on oncology and infectious disease biologics, and the company is actively partnering across animal health, chronic disease, infectious disease, and oncology.
Platform performance is supported by peer-reviewed publication in Nature Communications (2025) and by preclinical validation across multiple large animal species, demonstrating sustained therapeutic protein expression. Eyam has secured funding from the Gates Foundation and Medicines for Malaria Venture, and recently graduated from the Creative Destruction Lab (CDL) Vancouver Biomedical Engineering stream.
