Unitac Co., Ltd. is a development-oriented manufacturer based in Onomichi, Hiroshima, Japan. We develop, design, and manufacture laser power supplies, various control devices, and medical-related equipment. Since our development of a power supply for copper vapor lasers in 1985, we have expanded our business by leveraging our strengths in optical, power supply, and control technologies cultivated in industrial and research fields, including semiconductor laser power supplies, high-power LD power supplies, and embedded control devices. In the medical device field, Unitac holds a Type 1 Marketing Authorization Holder license for medical devices and a medical device manufacturing license. Under our ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certified quality management systems, we are committed to manufacturing products with a strong focus on quality, safety, and environmental considerations. We have also developed laser-applied devices that meet the needs of medical practice, such as semiconductor laser treatment devices, dental diode lasers, and laser systems for the treatment of varicose veins. In addition, we have a proven track record of obtaining regulatory approval and bringing medical devices to market. We have an integrated system that enables us to respond to a wide range of customer requirements, from the initial concept stage through design, prototyping, manufacturing, and OEM support.
