XWHIN (Women's Health Innovation Network) is the Catalan network for innovation in women's health led by the Sant Pau Research Institute. Its mission is to promote research and innovation with a sex and gender perspective by connecting the ecosystem and fostering projects with impact on clinical practice and society. The network brings together 47 research groups and 24 institutions and works to advance more equitable health for women.
XWHIN connects research, industry and society to drive innovation in women's health with a sex and gender perspective across all disease areas. As a translation-focused network, we seek strategic international partners to license, adopt or scale the technologies and solutions we generate, as well as alliances with leading institutions and networks in the women's health innovation space.
Based in Barcelona, Catalonia (Spain), XWHIN operates within one of Europe's leading biomedical research ecosystems.
