As part of the initiatives of the Division of Advanced Engineering Surgery at the Institute of Advanced Biomedical Sciences, Tokyo Women's Medical University (FATS), we are exhibiting the Mobile Smart Cyber Operating Theater, a vehicle-mounted mobile therapeutic unit. Since 2000, we have been developing intelligent operating theater in our university hospital, and since 2015, we have pioneered the Smart Cyber Operating Theater, highly advanced digital surgical environments with NTT DOCOMO, INC.. The Mobile Smart Cyber Operating Theater was designed to integrate this cutting-edge surgical theater technology into a trailer, with the aim of extending sophisticated medical care to the most remote areas. The Mobile Smart Cyber Operating Theater leverages IoT technology to interconnect and integrate various medical devices and facilities. By introducing the Mobile Strategy Desk, which facilitates comprehensive monitoring of surgical procedures and patient conditions, remote surgical assistance becomes feasible, enhancing surgical precision and safety. During the exhibition period, we conduct two daily demonstrations showcasing remote surgical assistance using the Mobile Smart Cyber Operating Theater and the Mobile Strategy Desk. In collaboration with partner companies, we will also display a range of therapeutic and diagnostic solutions as well as robotic systems related to Mobile Smart Cyber Operating Theater within the vehicle.
