The Republican Unitary Enterprise "Scientific and Practical Center LOTIOS" (state enterprise "NPC LOTIOS") is a commercial state scientific organization of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus, part of the Belfarmprom holding, performing scientific, technical, instrumental, analytical and informational work in the field of development and production of original and reproduced medicinal products, ensuring and controlling the quality of products, the safety of their production for humans and the environment in order to achieve compliance with international requirements and increase the competitiveness of products. The main activities of the state enterprise "NPC LOTIOS" are:
- development of competitive advanced technologies and scientific support for the development of production of domestic pharmaceutical substances, original and generic drugs, including in new dosage forms;
- full cycle of preclinical studies of drugs, pharmaceutical substances and medical products in in vivo and in vitro experiments;
- implementation of quality control of medicinal products;
- development and validation of testing methods for medicinal products and substances;
- comprehensive certification and validation of pharmaceutical production;
- training, increasing the competence and awareness of personnel of pharmaceutical industry enterprises in the field of quality assurance in accordance with the requirements of GMP, GLP, GDP.
