Modalis Intermodal UK Ltd is the latest country operation of MODALIS. Part of MODAL Group, Modalis has been working for more than 20 years to grow the modal shift ecosystem. Historically recognized for its expertise in intermodal transport equipment, the Group’s activities have since been enriched to better serve our partners and clients. Our goal is to design innovative INTERMODAL LOGISTICS SOLUTIONS which contribute to the ecological and energy transition. In 2026 MODAL Group will be opening a truly multimodal terminal in the Port of Dunkirk. Through such external growth, the group aims to offer a comprehensive range of innovative intermodal equipment and services to european hauliers, shippers and logistics providers who are opting for a modal shift and low-carbon transport. The goal is to make transport greener, more responsible and more efficient. Innovation is in the DNA of Modalis and in 2024, the fastest intermodal wagon operated in France and Modalis developed a new 1 ton lighter floor for its swapbodies.
