JBS USA has nine beef plants in the United States and one in Canada. Eight out of the 10 beef plants have hide curing facilities and the Cactus facility includes a wet blue tannery. The curing capacity for all of the facilities is 29,850 hides per day. The wet blue tanning capacity is 5,000 hides per day. Ninety-five percent of the hides and wet blue are exported which equals approximately 12,000 containers per year.
