Product overview
The scientific and technological park of BNTU "Polytechnic" carries out the development, production and implementation of import-substituting medical products. Main areas of application: cardiovascular surgery, traumatology, orthopedics, oncology and dentistry. The products are created jointly with the Republican Scientific and Practical Center "Cardiology", the Republican Scientific and Practical Center of Traumatology and Orthopedics and other specialized medical centers, and Politekhnika products are used in medical institutions of the Republic of Belarus. Cardiology and cardiovascular surgery:
- biological heart valve endoprostheses;
- stent-grafts for the thoracic and abdominal aorta;
- coronary stents;
- vascular prostheses, etc. Traumatology and orthopedics:
- implants and instruments for osteosynthesis;
- components for the apparatus G.A. Ilizarov;
- ORTO-SUV hexapods;
- emergency external fixation devices;
- intramedullary fixator for osteosynthesis of the fibula. Quality system:
- the quality management system for the development and production of medical devices is certified for compliance with the requirements of ISO 13485:2016;
- quality control of medical products is carried out by a laboratory accredited in accordance with the international standard ISO 17025:2017. Based on the results of the “Import Substitution” competition of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Belarus in 2025, the Scientific and Technological Park of the BNTU “Polytechnic” was awarded the title “Manufacturer of the Year”. The knee joint endoprosthesis was awarded the title of laureate of the competition “Best Products of the Republic of Belarus 2025” in the category “Industrial and Technical Products”. The Science and Technology Park of BNTU “Polytechnic” specializes in the development, manufacturing, and implementation of import-substituting medical devices. Key areas of application include cardiovascular surgery, traumatology, orthopedics, oncology, and dentistry. The products are developed in collaboration with the Republican Scientific and Practical Center (RSPC) for Cardiology, the RSPC for Traumatology and Orthopedics, and other specialized medical centers; the devices are used in healthcare institutions across the Republic of Belarus.
