The Museum of the History of Medicine of Belarus is a structural subdivision of the Republican Scientific Medical Library. The exhibits presented in the museum cover a wide historical period of the development of medicine in Belarus: from ancient times to the present day.
Only here you can, among other things, see photographs of the late 19th – early 20th centuries, a painting by an unknown German author of the 19th century. “Allegory of Medicine”, archaeological finds, pharmaceutical utensils from centuries, therapeutic, surgical and otorhinolaryngological instruments of the first half of the twentieth century, personal belongings and awards of nurses, doctors, professors, prominent figures in medicine.
The museum's exposition will be of interest to both doctors and people far from medicine. During the excursion you will learn many interesting facts about the development of medicine in our country and the history of Belarus in general.
