The Medical Device Association of the Philippines (MDAP) is a national industry organization uniting manufacturers, importers, distributors, service providers, and other companies involved in medical devices and healthcare technologies in the Philippines. Our shared purpose is to enable healthcare practitioners to provide uninterrupted, high-quality care by ensuring that safe, effective, and reliable medical technologies are available across hospitals, clinics, and care facilities. Incorporated in 2023, MDAP serves as a collective voice of the Philippine medical device industry in its engagements with the Department of Health, the Food and Drug Administration, and other government and private stakeholders. The association promotes ease of doing business and responsible innovation by supporting consultative policymaking, alignment with ASEAN and international standards, and constructive dialogue on regulatory, market access, and supply-chain issues. MDAP provides a platform for business collaboration, knowledge sharing, and partnership-building among local and international companies. We actively connect members with foreign manufacturers, technology partners, and investors interested in distribution, OEM and contract manufacturing, assembly and packaging, and long-term market development in the Philippines. Through our participation in WHX Osaka 2026, MDAP aims to deepen cooperation with Japanese and global stakeholders, explore strategic manufacturing alliances, and introduce trusted Philippine partners for market entry, regulatory navigation, distribution, and after‑sales service in the Philippines and Southeast Asia.
