The Ministry of Research and Universities of Catalonia is responsible for promoting structural policies that support the creation, generation, and transfer of knowledge. It seeks to build and strengthen a transformative, integrated, and collaborative model of knowledge, research, and innovation that contributes to the progress and quality of life of the people of Catalonia. The Ministry also works to position Catalonia among the 50 most innovative and leading regions in the European Union’s knowledge society by 2030. At the same time, it strengthens the role of the university system as a driver of transformation, progress, and social well-being, serving both the country and its citizens.
