For MICS (minimally invasive cardiac surgery), the “Flexpander” retractor features a deformable structure that allows surgeons to expand the operative field from the inside outward.
We also co‑developed “Mitlafullview” a self‑expanding retractor made from a thin Plate.
After insertion, the plate naturally opens to secure the surgical field from the inside outward, and the device is now used in robotic cardiac surgery .
Furthermore, by applying our proprietary processing technologies to HUMOFIT®, a new material that softens at body temperature, we support product development across a wide range of fields, including medical, healthcare, sports, and apparel.
